This booklet was for Aboriginal people who are charged with a crime and the people who help them.
If you identify as Aboriginal, you have rights under the Criminal Code called Gladue rights. Gladue rights refer to the special consideration that judges must give an Aboriginal person when setting bail or during sentencing.See the publications above or our Aboriginal Legal Aid in BC website for updates.
